Now considered to be the top television host today, Ryan Seacrest is poppoing up on every networks radar and finding his niche. In just the last year, Seacrest hosted the Primetime Emmy Awards, the entertainment pre-show for Superbowl XLII, ABC's New Years Rockin Eve Party with Dick Clark, E! Networks E! News Show, and yes, he's even hosted CNN's Larry King Live.

Having just scratched the surface with his impressive resume, it's no wonder the creator and producer of American Idol, Simon Cowell must sit back an exchange banter blow for blow with Seacrest. It doesn't look like Simon has any other choice. The marketing effect that Seacrest has on American Idol is immense. And as much as I would like it to be, that's not a poke at Simon, that's a genuine compliment for a young man who has impressively worked his way to the top and quickly built himself an admirable entrepreneural empire.
